August 23rd-27th-Lincoln Hills Development Corporation's Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is presenting a Smoky Mountain Show Trip through Diamond Tours, Inc. The cost is $459 per person including transportation, lodging, eight meals, guided tour, six shows and much more. Trip limited to the first 30 that apply ages 18 or older. September 16th- June Miller Free Training: We've Got to Stop Meeting Like This. Will be held at the Chrisney Youth and Community Center.

October 3rd- St. Meinrad Volunteer Fire Department will have a fundraiser, selling chicken and pork chop dinners. The dinners will consist of chicken or pork chops along with a dessert and soda. They will start serving at 10am. A cash raffle will also be held at the fundraiser, the top prize being $1000. They will also have a kiddie tractor pull as well as live music. The Antique Tractor Club will also be there with an assortment of tractors and farm implements on display.

November 1st-5th-The Spencer County Council on Aging will take a trip to the Branson Show Extravaganza. The cost for the trip is $519 per person. For more information, call Emma Lou Rininger at 649-9828.
